Other Ways of Replacing Teeth

•••> Conventional Fixed Dental Bridgework

Occasionally implant placement may not be possible, or your clinical situation may warrant the use of a conventional bridge.
Conventional fixed dental bridgework involves the use of adjacent teeth as supports. This treatment usually requires 2 appointments and can be completed over a period of a fortnight. Success will obviously depend on the health of the adjacent teeth.

•••> Removable Temporary Plates

Removable temporary plates are usually provided as a temporary measure.

Although they can appear natural, most patients prefer something fixed and secure as a long term measure.

•••> No Treatment

No treatment. Occasionally there may be no need to replace a missing tooth

eg. a missing back tooth which isn't visible or functional.
